Happy belated Thanksgiving! We hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving last week and through the weekend.
Ready for the Holidays?
Are you ready for the holidays? We have been shopping for gifts for our families, but we also think it is important to give to those in need. This year, we are adopting 14 children in the KVC network that could really use some love and generosity. As a team, we are going to Walmart on Thursday night to shop for the gifts that the kids have put on their lists. It is so much fun to pick presents for kids in need, knowing we are going to make a difference in their holiday this year. Afterwards, we go to dinner together, probably at Old Chicago Pizza. We will post pics soon.
Hopefully you are planning on helping out someone in need this holiday season! It could be donating your time to serve a meal or adopting a family in need. You will be helping someone out and feel real joy for your efforts!
The Plaza lights are on now, and if you haven’t been down to the Country Club Plaza for a meal or shopping, you should try to make that happen. It is a Kansas City tradition that has been going on for more than 80 years. More info here.
For something different, there is also the Luminary Walk at the Overland Park Arboretum. It is only available until next weekend (November 30th through December 1st) More info here.
As always, we are thankful that you are connected to us. You are the key to our success and we appreciate you so much!
