We know that our team is what makes our company successful. We have an involved hiring process! We do this to make sure that we hire the best people, with the right skills, that are also a culture fit.
Please Welcome Trent Brining – Our Newest Property Manager
We are excited to share that we recently hired Trent Brining as our newest Property Manager. Trent was referred to us from our very own Nick Vaughn. We knew that Trent was going to be a great fit the first time we met him. The fact that he is a decorated veteran was a huge bonus and a positive factor in our decision. You may have heard recently in the news that veterans have low confidence in finding jobs after their tours of duty. (For more information, check out this Reuters article) In this case, we can’t imagine someone more qualified for the job.
A Message From Trent

My name is Trent Brining, and I am the new property manager for your home with Home Rental Services. I am excited to be a part of the team here at HRS, and assure you I will work diligently, professionally, and respectfully to provide you with the same great service you were receiving prior to my arrival. I will eventually be taking over all the properties that Paul was managing but I am assuming them in groups of about 30 per week. Feel free to reach out to me at any time.
I am originally from Katy, Texas, which is a town just west of Houston. I spent five years in the U.S. Army as an Infantry Team leader, where I was deployed to Kuwait in 2002, and Iraq in 2003, 2004, and 2005. I was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds received in combat in March of 2005, and got out of the Army in 2006. I received an Associate’s Degree from Johnson County Community College in 2010, and am currently working on my Bachelor’s of Business Administration at Baker University.
In my “free” time, I enjoy playing in multiple recreational sports leagues, such as softball, football, basketball, and volleyball, and am always in attendance for many Chiefs and Royals games. Traveling, going to the lake, floating at the river, and barbecuing are also activities that frequently occupy my weekends.
A Personal Story

This topic is near and dear to Kandy’s heart (owner of Home Rental Services) because her father was also awarded the Purple Heart while serving in the Navy aboard the USS Longshaw. To be able to provide a job for Trent was a wonderful opportunity and a reminder to support our troops. It isn’t enough to welcome them home, we must take an active role in easing their transition back to civilian life.
