We wanted to share the good news that February was the busiest month that we have ever had in over 23 years of managing properties. We tripled our activity (300% more homes leased) than our average business in a typical February and doubled the best February we had on record before 2012. The point of this post is to let you know that we are keeping busy as usual and that the rental market is booming in Kansas City.
We think that it is important to recognize our team, because we wouldn’t have had the kind of month we did if it weren’t for everyone pulling in the same direction. We decided to do something different. Jack Stack BBQ is just across the street from our office building at College and Metcalf. We decided to have them cater lunch for the entire staff! The food was amazing and the celebration as a team felt really good. We have been working hard to make sure everything is working smoothly for our owners and renters during this busy time, so blowing off a little steam over a great lunch was a lot of fun.
