Posted by National Ice Cream Day is fast approaching… it’s celebrated on the third Sunday in July, so this year it falls on July 17th! President Reagan wanted to commemorate a treat enjoyed by over 90 percent of the US population, so in 1984 he decreed a day for ice cream. Another quick stat from the International Dairy Foods Association: The average American eats roughly 20 pounds of ice cream each year, or about 4 gallons!
In honor of our love of ice cream (even though there is some lactose intolerance in our crew) we wanted to share our favorite ice cream shops and flavors. Here is the list… and if you have a favorite shop or flavor we haven’t mentioned, please let us know!

Flavor: They have some mainstay flavors and some that rotate in and out. Their ice cream sammies are made with 2 homemade cookies in various flavors hugging a generous scoop of their delicious ice cream. The Breakfast flavor is oatmeal cookie with Thou Mayest Coffee ice cream. Mmmm.
